It was not a surprise why I kept on singing Michael Jackson's songs. He died last Thursday at his LA mansion. I was shocked when I saw the bold print "DEATH OF AN ICON" on Msn.com homepage. I thought it was a joke for that was what my husband thought too. I even searched more and found out he was really dead. I called mom and my friends in Philippines, telling them that the King of Pop is dead. It was 3 hours later after his death that I have learned about it. Telling my friends first before it will be shown on Philippine TV was all in my mind. I was really sad about the news. He was only 50 and still have a lot of things to be done in his life. He just started practicing his upcoming concert which I heard was a final one.

The following days, all his songs were played up to now. I am not really a fanatic, but I had liked his songs. My favorite was Thriller, I liked dancing with this music. Yes he left thiis world but his songs will forever live in our hearts. May he rest in peace.
